Walking a labyrinth is a calming practice that invites reflection, mindfulness, and renewal. Unlike a maze, there are no tricks or dead ends—just a single winding path that gently guides you inward and back out again. Many people find it helps quiet the mind, reduce stress, and create space for clarity or spiritual connection. Whether used for meditation, prayer, or simply a mindful walk, the labyrinth offers a simple yet powerful way to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. Walking the labyrinth as a group can deepen the sense of peace, much like practicing yoga together.
No experience is needed—just come ready to walk at your own pace for about 35 minutes.
After the walk, we will provide a choose of hot tea or cacao for you to enjoy while Renée guides us in creating our own journals. She’ll share prompts and ideas for how to use them, and you’ll take yours home as a keepsake from the experience.
Renée is a Healing Arts Specialist with a master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling. During graduate school, she studied the benefits of labyrinth walking and will share both her insights and information about other local labyrinths open to the public.
Please dress for the weather. In case of extreme conditions, the event will be canceled, so check social media for updates before heading out.
Please register in advance so that we can have the proper amount of supplies for journal making.
A $5-10 donation is suggested at registration but please reach out if you are experiencing financial hardship.
Suggested Donation: $5-$10

As the holiday season approaches, we're gathering for an evening filled with laughter, handmade treasures, and meaningful moments together. Join us for Tidings & Togetherness—a celebration designed to bring our community together and spread the warmth of the season.
This is more than just a holiday party. It's an opportunity to slow down, create something beautiful, and connect with others who share your values. We'll be crafting gorgeous ornaments, sharing delicious food, and celebrating what makes this season special.
Whether you're a seasoned crafter or crafting for the first time, there's a place for you at this gathering. This is about creativity without pressure, connection without pretense, and celebration that feels authentic.
Registration is required to ensure we have enough craft supplies and refreshments for everyone. We want every attendee to have a complete, joyful experience—and advance registration helps us make that possible.
If you're able, we welcome donations to support this event. Every contribution helps us create a richer experience for our community. Give what feels right to you.
The holiday season can sometimes feel rushed and disconnected. We created Tidings & Togetherness as a pause—a chance to be present with others, to make something with our hands, and to remember what this time of year is really about. In a world that often pulls us apart, we believe in the power of gathering together.
Donations are appreciated.

What if the answers you’re searching for aren’t in your head?
“I was desperately trying to think my way to answers, listening to the loud voices in my head instead of the gentle whisper of my soul.”
I wasn’t quiet enough to hear from the one voice that actually knew the way forward.
You know that quiet knowing?
The one that shows up in the stillness between thoughts?
The gentle nudge that feels like coming home?
That’s your soul speaking.
And it’s connected to something so much bigger than your mind could ever comprehend.
Lanterns of Light was born from this realization.
Aneta will be there to sign your book!
Also feel free to bring your favorite book 📖 for a gently used book swap!
Please be sure to register as space is limited.
Thank you! Namaste 🙏🏻

Thank you to the fantastic Denys Morgan and all of the amazing women who joined us to connect with Mother Earth and hugged a tree at the Shaker Lakes Nature Center!
Forest bathing, also known as Shinrin-yoku in Japanese, originated in Japan in the 1980s. The practice involves immersing oneself in nature and connecting with it using all of the senses. It is considered a form of movement meditation. The practice involves being calm and quiet, observing nature, and breathing deeply. It is an excellent way to slow down and become grounded. Studies have shown that it helps reduce stress and improve health and well-being.
